To provide core application blocking, focus management, app lock, and private vault features, Freeze requires technical access to list installed application packages on your device.

  • Purpose: Required strictly to identify when a target application is launched and block it if it exceeds your customized limits, or lock it with a passcode.
  • Processing: This package name matching is processed entirely locally on your physical device.
  • Transmission: No installed application lists or lists of locked/blocked apps are ever transmitted to or stored on our external servers.
  • No Ad Targeting: Freeze does not share, rent, or sell package list information with any ad networks.

2. Other Information We Collect

We operate on strict privacy guidelines. We do not require account registration or login.

  • No Registration Data: You do not need to register an account or log in to use Freeze.
  • Information You Voluntarily Provide: If you contact us via email support, we collect your email address and any query details you voluntarily submit.
  • Automatically Collected Diagnostics: To ensure that the screen blocking and vaults operate perfectly across device architectures, we may collect technical hardware specs (device manufacturer, CPU type, OS version, and app performance logs). This contains no personally identifiable information (PII).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use this information strictly for the following purposes:

  • To operate the app lock and focus blocker matching mechanism.
  • To diagnose, resolve, and repair runtime bugs or crash anomalies.
  • To respond to and troubleshoot any customer support requests.

💡 Core Transparency Notice

Freeze operates locally. We do not have user databases, advertising profiles, or custom telemetry servers. Your private photos inside the Private Vault and blocked configurations remain locked safely on your own hardware.

4. Data Retention and Deletion Policy

We have instituted a transparent data retention protocol to ensure we do not retain information longer than required for operational maintenance.

If you want us to manually delete your email thread before our 180-day archive expiration, please submit a deletion request to the support contact in Section 9.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Anonymized logs are only shared with trusted platforms (e.g. Google Developer Services) to detect performance bugs, and they are legally required to keep this data safe. We may also disclose data in rare cases under strict legal obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

Freeze is a utility application suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If any parent discovers their child under 13 has emailed us, please notify us, and we will delete that message and email address immediately.

7. Your Choices and Rights

No matter where you live, you have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of any email support messages you have sent us. We will fulfill all valid requests within 30 days.
